A career in sales and marketing at Brammer Buck & Hickman puts you at the front line of our ambitious growth plans. Whether you’re working with customers, winning new business or creating campaigns and organising events, you’re very much the public face of the company.

As part of our sales team you’ll be mobile, flexible and commercially astute – but as well as a natural ability to close the deal, you’ll also be adept at developing strong relationships and adapting your approach to suit the needs of the customer. A large part of a sales roles will be visiting prospective clients in all industry sectors to secure new accounts, but you’ll also have the ability to build a rapport – and identify opportunities for growth – with existing clients of yours.

All of these skills will be backed up by your passion for manufacturing and engineering, ideally gained from working in a similar role beforehand. Combined with your sales skills, your technical capabilities will give you the ability to truly add value for customers, delivering cost savings and creating strong advocates for Brammer Buck & Hickman.

To thrive in our marketing team, you’ll need an eye for a story, an understanding of what will attract (and keep) our customers’ attention, and a creative approach. You’ll be skilled at managing ‘traditional’ marketing materials such as brochures and advertising, but also feel confident with digital channels and the full marketing mix.

We also offer opportunities for talented e-commerce specialists to join us and shape the development of our digital purchasing offer. With your understanding of user experience and customer service, as well as technical skills, you’ll bepivotal in enabling our customers to buy - however and whenever they choose.

And for both sales and marketing teams , internal relationships are key. You’ll work closely with product managers, category specialists and other teams to provide customer service that sets the bar high, and ignites a desire to do business with us.
